about

Blue Pepper was part of Duke Ellington's "Far East Suite" which was released in 1966, and the groove is pretty much true to the Ellington Band's original, with a little Phatt Al and rubber guitar thrown in. Jeff Coffin reveals what a great flute player he is, in addition to his fabulous saxophone playing on other tracks.
